Spanish filmmaker, photographer and writer, of wide international prestige.
Among the great number of prizes and recognitions of him stands out in 1992 the Gold Medal of the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Spain, in 1993 the Order of French Arts and the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.
He is the director of more than 5th films, plays and operas.
Passionate about photography, his series of Fotosaurs, painted photos, stand out.

In 2005 Carlos Saura created his series of painted photographs .- Fotosaurios.
On these originals retouched by hand, an edition of digital graphic work was made.
